In summer, we are open every day for set hours; please refer to our booking schedule.
We can also offer private bookings outside these hours.

Zipline Akureyri's base and meeting place is located in Thingvallastraeti 50, in the middle of Akureyri. Here is a map.
You can take a free bus, hop on the Hop On Hop Off bus, rent a Hopp scooter, walk, run, call a taxi or drive your own car. We have plenty of free parking.

Please note that the bus runs less frequently on weekends and Icelandic public holidays.
We recommend downloading the app Klappið for best results.

No, we do not offer pick-up.
To help keep our prices reasonable, we have chosen not to include a pick-up service. Luckily, we are located inside Akureyri, so it is easy to reach us by car, taxi, bus, or even on foot, depending on where you are coming from.

There is no such thing as bad weather, only bad clothing! Dress according to the day and you’ll be just dandy zipping in any kind of weather.
We advice sturdy trail shoes with a good grip and tight hold on your foot. Because we walk on nature paths in all sorts of conditions.

Yes. The minimum age is 8, and it's a hard requirement for our scheduled tours.
On private tours, we can take children under 8.

Upper weight limit is 120kg (265 lbs).
No minimum weight.

Most reasonably fit people can join this tour.
Our oldest guest so far was an impressively fit 96-year-old lady.
That said, you do need to be comfortable walking on uneven natural paths, stepping up and down higher-than-normal steps, and walking slightly uphill for about 10 minutes at the end. You should also be able to keep a normal, relaxed walking pace with the group.
